THE NATURAL
As a Natural you’ve totally got this! Sales really isn’t a problem for you. You’ve either had some sort of formal sales training in a previous life, or you just follow what comes naturally and instinctively.
Either way you’re pretty confident about your sales conversations. You take them in your stride and you feel happy and excited to see a new person booked in to your diary.
You are intuitive yet grounded and practical at the same time. You may describe yourself as spiritual and rely on guidance and connection with a higher power to guide you in your business decisions and sales situations.
WHERE YOU ARE
You love connecting with your potential clients regardless of whether they go ahead and decide to work with you or not. In fact, you love the sales process almost as much as you love doing the work with the client itself!
You know that if you show up, connect from the heart, listen, show compassion and then follow your instincts when it comes to making a recommendation to work with you, your sales conversations flow and you have a pretty high success rate, even if you’re not consciously aware of what it is you do that works.
However, while your sales conversations flow and you have a success rate to be proud of, you often find that not enough people are booking in for these consultations for you to have all the clients you need for your business to be truly viable and feel nurturing and fulfilling for you.
THE GOOD NEWS
The good news for a Natural is that you just don’t carry all that “stuff” and negative thinking about sales that so many of the other styles seem to have accumulated.
You are also very confident of the value of your work and are comfortable charging healthy prices for what you do – you know that the work you do and the transformation you can help your clients achieve is worth every penny.
Your sales conversations flow naturally and intuitively so all you need to focus on is getting more people booked in to speak with you.
YOUR CHALLENGE
The challenge for a Natural is typically one of two things.
Either you’re simply not getting out there and attracting enough people to have these connected, authentic conversations in the first place. In other words your problem is with attracting clients (aka marketing) rather than sales.
Or you don’t have a sales process in place that guides a new potential client seamlessly through from first contact through to getting booked in for a sales conversation. Both of these can leave you feeling that how you get clients is all a bit of a mystery and seems to be at the mercy of the universe or dependent on you’re being in a positive energetic vibration.
Some days this doesn’t bother you because you know things always work out for you.
OTHER FACTORS
At other times you feel frustrated because you know how good you are at what you do yet you see others who are less talented have more successful businesses.
Sometimes you wish you could do more to generate a regular flow of clients and have it feel more like it’s something that’s within your control.
But don’t worry, as a Natural you just need to do more to generate a steady stream of clients to have these sales conversations with and put more of a structure in place so that your sales process becomes something under your control.

It’s worth taking time to identify the marketing approach that will feel in flow and easy for you. Don’t be tempted to follow someone else’s cookie-cutter approach. Just because it worked for them it doesn’t mean it will work for you.
There are lots of different ways of attracting new clients – but only a very few that will feel in flow and be a perfect fit for you.

It’s also important that you develop a clear sales process so that you know the journey a new client will take from the point where they first hear of you through to saying a resounding “Yes Please!” to working with you, and can guide them on that journey.
